Bar the one purchased from Fairview Wine & Cheese Farm, Matt & Sasha’s small herd of goats I’m managing on their behalf are horned. What saddens me therefore is when Kashkha (the youngest of the three mothers) does (mock?) battle with Pegasus (the Fairview goat) – sometimes inflicting light flesh wounds. However, what is scary and awe inspiring is when Daisy (the matriarch) locks horns with Kashkha. My immediate reaction is to intervene but thus far (hold thumbs) neither has harmed the other. So thank you for raising the issue of de-horning in your ongoing quest for accountability in the dairy and retail industry.
